About Rinôçérôse

It all began in Benicassim where Patrice “Patou” Carrié (Bass) and Jean-Philippe Freu (Guitar) associated with artists and musicians such as Bnann (Singer), Florian Brinker (Guitar), Rémi Saboul (Guitar), Frédéric Pace (Drums) to form a protean collective.

In order to compose they get their energy in electronic music, in the works of the Rolling Stones, Happy Mondays, My Bloody Valentine or Primal Scream. In the end, their creation process is like a fanciful patchwork adjusting to the circumstances. By turns naïve or radical, their artistic approach is still astonishingly rich and vast.

In 1999, the single “Le Mobilier” established Rinôçérôse on the map of international Electro-Dance music but it’s in 2006 that they conquered the world with “Cubicle” which was used for the iTunes and iPod ad, entering #40 at the Billboard’s Modern Rock Tracks Chart.

Considered as the pioneers of Electro-Rock, Rinôçérôse is about to release its new single “Fighting the Machine”, a new album “Funktional Music”, 20 years and 6 albums after the debuts on Madrid based label Elefant Record.
